The 11 o’clock club group of swimmers from the Forty Foot raise funds yearly for Action Breast Cancer through a sponsored triathlon. This year they’re also launching a calendar with the theme of 50s glamour on the beach with a humorous touch. It will be a 3-day location shoot in the Forty Foot: 30th March – 1st April 2011.
This is a free gig with plenty of perks:
1.    Credit. The back cover of the calendar is a group photo of the production team with names and credits.
2.    Exposure: the swimmers are marketing masters. In these tight times they still managed to raise €40,000 last November for the charity through promotion and contacts alone.
3.    Existing fan base: aside from this film the swimmers and the Forty Foot have also been featured in various national newspapers, magazines, other documentaries and TV.
